Join the Hawk and Owl Trust for a short course in how to analyse barn owl pellets.

We will be learning about owls, their pellets and prey. We will then have a go at dissecting pellets and identifying the bones and skulls found inside them.

This workshop is suitable to anyone aged 12 and over (under 18’s must be accompanied by an adult guardian who will also have to book a place). 

Meet at the cabin located in the centre of the reserve. To access the cabin by car, follow the track next to the car park to a small staff parking area. Alternatively, park in the main visitor car park and walk down the main track to the cabin (allow 10 minutes for this).
