Come along for a winter stroll at Shapwick Moor Nature Reserve. We’ll take a relaxed walk through the reserve, enjoy the winter landscape and see what wildlife we can spot along the way. It’s a chance to get some fresh air, take a bit of time out, and meet some other like-minded men. No pressure, no need to be an expert walker or know anything about nature — just come along, walk at your own pace and enjoy some good company.

We will meet in the visitor car park at Shapwick Moor.

What to bring – please dress for the weather, sturdy walking boots or wellies recommended. Bring binoculars if you have them but not worry if you don’t, we will bring spares.  

Accessibility – we will be walking on a mixture of hardstanding track and grassy fields, most of which is level ground. There is a wooden footbridge and stile on one of the footpaths followed by several uneven concrete steps If you have any specific questions about accessibility please do get in touch
