With both familiar and less common species to spot, including the Essex Skipper and Painted Lady, join us for this afternoon exploration of the reserve, to learn about and identify the butterflies found here.

Please note, this walk is likely to visit parts of the reserve not usually accessible to visitors where terrain is rough and uneven: it is not suitable for less mobile visitors.

Please wear sturdy footwear for all walks and dress appropriately for the weather. We advise wearing trousers to reduce tick risk. Moderate fitness is required for all walks (walks usually last at least 2 hours).
